For the second consecutive year, architects, designers, developers, and vendors descended upon the Miami Beach Convention Center in mid-May to celebrate and share their passion for design at Maison et Objet Miami. This interior, design, and lifestyle show is an offshoot of the main Maison et Objet gathering held annually in Paris, with another spin-off in Asia each year.
This year’s event doubles the size of the 2015 event, offering exclusive looks at designs from around the world with a focus on the Americas.
Evident in the 2016 exhibition are modern trends in lighting, with a penchant for gold, and a love affair with glass. Graphic patterns were spied in abundance, with an expected and elegant leaning toward simplicity. We spotted hints of vintage, pops of bold color, and stunning design at every turn.
Take a peek at just a few of the designs shared at this amazing event.
